Oven Roasted Branzino with Mashed Tiny Potatoes

This is a great dish that is very easy to make and will “wow” your dinner guests. The flavorful taste of the Branzino is rich and delicate while the purple and red hues from the mashed potatoes add a touch of color to the meal. 


Serves 3 Oven Roasted Branzino with Mashed Tiny Potatoes

  • 2 branzino cleaned and filet

  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 garlic cloves minced finely

  • ¼ teaspoon of paprika

  • 1 lemon

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 bag of one bite potatoes (Russet, Red & Purple)

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Wash the potatoes and boil with the skin on for 15-20 min, check by piercing with a fork.

  3. Season the fish filets with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic and squeeze the juice from the lemon. Marinade for 10 min, while the oven is warming up.

  4. Roast the fish for 15 minutes, until cooked through

  5. Strain the potatoes and place in a bowl. Use a mixer or smash with a fork, add salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon olive oil and butter

  6. Plate and serve
